New improved design! Kendama-World is pleased to be one of the first stores to sell the all-new Yumu 3.0 Suite which features:
- New improved threaded Yumu pegs and peg holes.
- Suite includes 3 Shokunin pegs, magnet, weights and a spare string.
- New boxed packaging.
Yumu Kendama feature a Patented design based on removable pegs. Through their continuous research and improvement, Yumu have improved the quality of their kendama! Each cup now has a plastic threaded hole into which a threaded Yumu Shokunin Peg can be fitted. The screw thread design of the Shokunin Handmade Kendama Work pegs secures them into the cups much better than the old wooden push-fit design. The pegs and peg holes are also now a consistent size, so there is no longer any problem with the pegs falling out, or being too tight or too loose.
In addition to strengthening the existing peg design, Yumu 3.0 has also introduced special accessories (included in this Suite package) which adjust the weight of the kendama! With these weight fittings, you can increase or decrease the kendama weight and balance to suit your favourite tricks and personal preferences. Changing the type and weight of your Yumu kendama can make it easier to perform tricks like kenflip, Lunar, gunslinger and variety - oriented tricks. In the future, Yumu plan to introduce other specific configuration accessories for players!
Like the original Yumu, you can set up this kendama to play in many ways! You can use it as a standard single-spiked kendama, or add Shokunin pegs (supplied) to as many of the cups as you wish. Add one additional peg to have a two-spiked kendama, add two additional pegs to create a 3 spiked kendama, or add 3 additional pegs to have a 4-spiked kendama with no cups. This versatility adds a new dimension to play and opens up a whole new load of crazy trick possibilities.
Like any kendama, the fitted string will wear out and can break. While the Yumu 3 is supplied with one spare string, we recommend that you purchase additional kendama strings.
