Please note: Battery life should be around a year but will vary according to how often the back-light is used. The battery is replaceable - the battery of the 1858 is CR2025. Although waterproof it is not recommended to press any buttons whilst the watch is submerged. When received the watch face is covered by a removable protective plastic film.
