These premium Dragon Kendama Pills are made for us from high quality seasoned Kassord hardwood (from the Senna siamea tree, also known as Cassod or Cassia) and sold in a natural unfinished state. Compared to standard beech wood, this kassord wood pill is much heavier and this is the heaviest pill we presently sell. The heavy weight will probably not suit most beginners. During play it has the lovely distinctive percussive 'clunk' sound typical of all our hardwood pills. Kassord is a hard wearing wood with a dark almost black colour and has quite a coarse grain. Each one is unique. Please note hardwood kendama may get hairline cracks as the wood adapts to different environments (heat, humidity etc). This is normal and will not affect play.
