Metal fidget roller ring magnetic clicker EDC design 38. This chunky, robustly made all-metal haptic EDC (Everyday Carry) gadget is sold at Skilltoyz in a choice of designs. Made from high-quality stainless steel and other metals, this fidget ring is built to last. The outer edge of the ring rotates around the inner part on a ball bearing, with a pleasant, almost-silent click. The click is quiet enough not to annoy others, for discrete fidgeting. A total of 4 magnets are pre-installed in the ring, and these provide satisfyingly gentle and quiet tactile feedback as you turn the ring. You can install a total of up to 8 magnets inside the ring, this will allow you to personalise number of clicks per rotation and the magnetic resistance. This also means you can make the ring free-spinning if you remove all the magnets. It is supplied with 4 spare magnets and a tool for assembly, so you can customise your rings performance. This is a good quality everyday carry (EDC) fidget gadget, ideal for discreet and quiet fidgeting at home or in the office. Includes spare magnets and a tool to undo/tighten the ring.

Advice from Pete, Skilltoyz: the ring can be disassembled using the supplied tool. This allows you to remove the inner hub and add or remove magnets. There are 3 major parts (see photos) to the rings. Be careful when undoing the ring, the small magnets on the outer race are not stuck (glued) in position, and will fall out when the opposing magnets are removed. If you take do this apart, we recommend that you do so over a towel or similar cloth surface to help prevent loss of the small magnets. Take great care with the magnets, they are small but quite strong and could be accidentally ingested. If placing the magnets back in, it is easiest to do if the inner and outer races are both in place, so the fixed magnets in the inner race attract the loose magnets in the outer race into place.
Note there may be a little play in the ring, this allows for free movement. If the amount of play seems excessive, you might be able to reduce this by undoing the ring and checking that the bearing is tight up against the collar of the inner race (as far as it will go).
