The Rainbow Torofluxus is a toy that was invented in the mid-1990s and is now sold under many different names. It is a tactile fidget toy made from a single continuous ribbon of steel, made into a torus spring. It is hard to describe, but the torus loops back on itself to form a donut shape. The spring can flow down your arm, or almost any suitable object, creating a shimmering effect. On bare skin it feels very odd, and give an ASMR-like tingling experience! Try rolling it down your arm, or place an object in the centre and see what happens. A fascinating gadget and a most unusual gift.

Fun
Bought as a Christmas stocking filler, it is a cheap and fun fiddle toy. The package says it is not for under 16's, but I can't see why. I guess it could break if pulled apart hard, and then it would be sharp. But if played with normally I can't see it doing that.
